For individual
visitors who want to explore a new destination of Greece, enjoying
natural interests and swimming in the endless beaches of the
irregular coastline of the Peloponnese, then this tour is the
most important in Greece.
Peloponnese is the southern geographic region of the Greek mainland,
that combines magnificent beaches, mountains and history.

DAY 1 (Corinthian region highlights )
Car
pickup and check in to the hotel. After arriving explore
the highlights of the Corinthian Region ( see our page:
Holidays in the country of Corinth). Don't miss a short
cruise through the Corinthian canal. Select one of the magnificent
beaches for swimming. Overnight in the hotel in the Corinthian
region.

DAY 2 ( Corinthos - Nafplio about 70 km* / 1 hour &
30 minutes drive on a national road )
After
breakfast departure for Argolida the land with extremely
interesting archaeological sites and natural beauty. Take
the northeast road to Epidaurus (epidavros), visit the ancient
theatre, with its unique acoustics and then to Nafplio,
the first capital of free Greece. Check in to the hotel
in Nafplio. In the afternoon visit Mycenae, an ancient city
known as Agamemno's Kingdom in Hommer (2nd millennium B.C.)
and surrounding area such as Tolo, Bourtzi, an islet topped
by a miniature fort and Palamidi the skirmished castle.

in the hotel in Nafplion.

DAY 3 ( Nafplio - Gythio about 160 km*/ 3 hours drive
on a national road )
Continue
exploring Peloponnese by visiting the land of Arcadia. Take
the old road to Myloi village, Leonidio village. Passing
through this land you enjoy the picturesque typical Arcadian
villages. Then drive through mountains towards Gythio town,
the most famous spa of Lakonia land. Check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon drive northeastern to visit Monemvasia
town, a middle ages Byzantine and Roman castle - state,
up in a hill, one of the most beautiful and most important
towns in the Peloponnese. Select one of the magnificent
beaches for swimming. Overnight in Gythio town.(Alternative

DAY 4 ( Gythio - Kalamata about 100 km*/ 1 hour & 30
minutes drive on a national road)
After
breakfast, drive southern to Sparta ( Sparti), the capital
city of Laconia land. Then visit the Byzantine castle -
state of Mystra with its incredible churches, monasteries,
palaces and mansions. Take the way to Kalamata, the capital
city of Messinia prefecture. Check in to the hotel in Kalamata.
Nearby lies a pretty little town Pilos or Navarino and Finikounda,
a picturesque fishing village, with sandy beaches, at the
back of a bay. Select one of the magnificent beaches for
swimming. Overnight in the hotel in Kalamata.

DAY 5 ( Kalamata - Olympia about 115 km*/ 1 hour & 50
minutes drive on a national road )
This
day you will visit Olympia, the place where the first Olympic
games began in 776 B.C. Discover and enjoy the beauties,
the sights and the natural interests of this land. Places
also of interest is the cave of the Anigrian Nymphs on an
island in the lagoon of Kaiafa and Hlemoutsi frank castle.

in the hotel in Olympia.

DAY 6 ( Olympia - Patra-Corinthos about 260 km*/ 3 hours
& 30 minutes drive on a national road )
Take
the highway to Patra. Make a stop at Patra, the capital
city of Peloponnese and international port of Greece and
then take the old road to Corinthos to enjoy beautiful beaches
and villages. Stop at Diakofto village, leave your car there
and cross a magnificent place to Kalavrita town with the
cog railway. Visit the this historical village and the Monastery
of Agia Lavra ( where the revoloution of 1821 began). Return
to Diakofto village by the cog railway. Drive eastern to
Xilocastro town, enjoy the beautiful environment and late
in the afternoon arrive in Corinthos. Select one of the
magnificent beaches for swimming. Overnight in the hotel
in Corinthian region.

DAY 7 ( Departure day)
Free
time for swimming or visiting the Corinthian Region ( see
our page: Holidays in the country of Corinth). Car pick
up the car and departure to your destination.
This
package includes:
1) 6 nights staying in a 3* hotel on bed and breakfast
basis (2 nights in Corinth , 1 night in Nafplio, 1 night
in Gythio ( or Sparta town), 1 night in Kalamata, 1
night in Olympia).
2) 7 days car hire B group (delivery and pick up at
Corinthos town) including unlimited kilometers, CDW
( part insurance), Theft protection, taxes.
